Amelia joined the team at White Dental Co. in 2023 as our Oral Health Therapist. Her gentle approach to dental practice has helped people of all ages take control of their oral health. Amelia aims to make her patients feel relaxed during their appointments by listening carefully to them and showing genuine care for their well-being. It’s no wonder that her favourite quote is, “Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.”
Amelia believes the mouth is the gateway to the body, so maintaining healthy teeth, gums, and jaws is crucial. She frequently updates her knowledge by attending professional development courses and incorporates an evidence-based approach to dentistry in her practice.
Amelia found her calling in the dental profession after working as a chairside assistant in her gap year. She graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast as an Oral Health Therapist in 2011 and worked most of her career at Queensland Health before joining our practice.
Outside of dentistry, Amelia loves spending time with her husband and four children, encouraging them to live life to the fullest. When not working, she can be found enjoying Hervey Bay’s wonderful lifestyle at a park or the beach. Amelia is also fond of playing touch football and is a devoted member of her church.
